Documents for tender participation in Uzbekistan: the full list

The most common reason a bid is rejected is not the price but the documents: a certificate is missing, a licence has expired, the wrong form was used. Below is what almost every lot requires, what depends on the procedure and the subject of the purchase, and how to keep your package ready so you can submit a bid in an hour rather than a week.

1. The basic package: needed almost always

2. Documents that depend on the subject of the purchase

Subject of the purchaseWhat is usually required
Construction and repair worksA licence for construction activity, details of staff and machinery, experience of similar works, sometimes an equivalent of self-regulatory organisation (SRO) membership and permits
Medicines and medical devicesA pharmaceutical licence, registration certificates for the products, quality certificates
Food productsCertificates of conformity, sanitary and epidemiological reports, documents of origin
Equipment and machineryCertificates of conformity, warranty obligations, manufacturer's documents or a dealer letter
IT and software developmentPortfolio and implementation experience, details of specialists, software licences, sometimes information security certificates
Services (security, audit, design)A licence for the relevant activity, experience of similar contracts, staff qualifications

The exact list is always in the lot documentation — that is the first thing to open. Tanlo tender analysis puts the participant requirements into a separate list, so you don't have to hunt for them across 40 pages of technical specifications.

3. The bid documents themselves

Tanlo can draft the application, power of attorney, letter of guarantee, commercial proposal and technical specification automatically from your company's details and the specific lot — you only need to check the drafts and sign them.

4. How to keep your package ready

  1. Create a folder with up-to-date scans of your incorporation documents and keep track of when your certificates and licences expire.
  2. Fill in your company profile once — bank details, director, bank, OKED code (national classifier of economic activities) — and use it for every bid.
  3. Renew your tax certificate before every submission: an expired certificate means rejection.
  4. Check that the company name, TIN (taxpayer identification number) and signatory match in every document.
